@pantone is #thedress #whiteandgold or #blueandblack – time to solve the consumer #digitalcolor problem

There’s a lot of debate on Tumblr about this right now, and we need to settle it. This is important because I think I’m going insane.

#thedress #whiteandgold or #blueandblack  it’s why designers use @Pantone  when describing / referring to color. There can be several contributing factors, Light, so that the angle of the screen and the light in room can affect color on screen… The Calibration (setting) of the device on which it is viewed or  shot.  Color blindness … or how individuals see color… not quite sure of how that works but men often see colors different from women… some individual have more accurate color " aptitude" than others.. s not uncommon …  this simply  highlight the need for a consumer  product that ensures everyone sees the same color. what is clear is that it’s about time this problem is solved…
