Developments on my 3D printing machines, as well as my perspectives on the rapidly growing commercial and DIY 3D printing communities.

Bonnie Sandy‘s insight:

Grassroots engineering’s 16ft 8in 3D printed, customized Kayak made of ABS plastic, machine screws, brass threaded inserts and a little bit of silicone caulk.cost roughly  $500US  to make.  It’s printed on  an opensource DIY 3D printer-  the 3D Printer CAD, Drawings and Bill of Materials  for this printer and  the Fab@Home  version are on his blog! Happy  Making!

It’s cool but need a companion!
